The check-in process, end to end
Every FTNSS pass is a QR code in the member's app. Scanning takes about two seconds, works on the device you already have, and logs every entry automatically.
At the door
- 1The member opens their pass in the FTNSS app.
- 2You scan it - phone camera, kiosk, or a plugged-in hardware scanner.
- 3The screen answers in color: green (let them in), amber (caution - read the reason), red (don't - with the reason).
- 4The check-in is logged with time, pass, and staff member - no paperwork.
Good to know: A pass activates at its FIRST scan - that's when its clock starts. A 3-day pass first scanned Thursday runs Thursday–Saturday, no matter when it was bought.
Who can scan
Everyone on your team: owners, managers, front desk, instructors, and scan-only device logins. Scanning is the one capability every role has.
