Scanning with the camera
The camera scanner is built into the partner app - any phone or tablet at the desk becomes a scanner in one tap.
Using it
- 1Open Scan a pass in the partner app.
- 2Allow camera access the first time.
- 3Point at the member's QR - the result appears with the member's name and pass type.
- Screen brightness matters more than distance - ask the member to bump brightness if a scan hesitates
- Works offline-tolerant: brief network blips queue and re-verify
- Prefer typing? The pass code (like 7Q4K-9MHW) can be entered manually
