Manual check-ins & overrides
Phones die and screens crack. Manual paths keep the line moving while keeping the record honest.
Two manual paths
- Type the code - every pass has a short code (like 7Q4K-9MHW); enter it in Scan a pass for the same validation as a scan
- Member lookup - find the member by name/email in Members, confirm their pass is valid, and check them in from their profile
Good to know: Overrides (letting someone in without a valid scan) are logged and show in your usage analytics as a manual-override rate. A rising rate is your early warning for scanner trouble or pass confusion - keep it under a few percent.
