What you'll need for Stripe verification
Stripe verification is a one-time legal check ("know your customer"). With the right documents at hand it takes about ten minutes.
Checklist
- Legal business name, address, and registration/tax number
- A representative's details - name, date of birth, and government ID if asked
- Bank account in your gym's country and currency
- A phone number for verification codes
Common snags
- Name mismatch - the bank account must belong to the verified business or person
- Pending status - Stripe sometimes asks for one more document; check the Stripe dashboard prompt
- Wrong country - your Stripe country must match your gym's country (it drives your payout currency)
