Taxes: charged per location, paid to you in full
Tax follows the gym, not the buyer: each location charges its own local rate, the member pays it, and it lands with you to remit like any other sale.
How it's calculated
- Per location - a Toronto site charges HST while a Berlin site charges German VAT, automatically
- Added at checkout on top of your rate, alongside the FTNSS fee
- Paid through to you in full with your rate - FTNSS is not the merchant of your tax
Good to know: You remit collected tax to your authority as you do for front-desk sales. Your Finance export breaks out tax per transaction for your accountant.
